Cape Futtsu, Chiba (25 June, 2005)

How the sunset sky looks like-- it is deeply associated with weather forecast.  In Japan, the
weather changes from west to east.  Therefore, if the sunset sky is colored orange, which
appears at the fine weather, it's gonna be a fine day tomorrow.  On the other hand, if the
sunrise sky is colored by orange, it means the fine weather's gone.
When I told this story to my friend, she seemed quite interested in it-- OK, I will show you how
the sunset sky in Japan looks!!!
At first, I planned to go to
Kamakura and Enoshima Island,
but the serious traffic jam kicked
me out-- I changed the
destination to Cape Futtsu.  Cape
Futtsu is the top of long projecting
sand bar into the Tokyo Bay
towards west.  It is indeed
famous for the sunset view.  If the
sky was clear, the view of Mt. Fuji
beyond the bay is expected, but it
was too humid to view Her.
