Kichijo-ji  (28 Feb 2005)

Kichijo-ji is a fashionable town located at the edge of Tokyo-- 20-30 min by train from major
train stations in centre Tokyo.  Youngsters gather and enjoy their lives in this town.  Many
interesting shops/restaurants could be found.  As "Ji" in its name shows, there is a temple.
However, this town is not famous for it, but as centre of shopping in this area.
Restaurant/Cafe/Bar
Many restaurants are trying to attract as many customers everyday as rivals.  Some are
good, some are not.  Whatever taste of food is, it is important to let customers in-- attractive
signs could be found here and there in Kichijo-ji.
There are also many sundry shops-- some
goods are ethnic, some are traditional, some
are essential to daily life...  Kichijo-ji is quite
popular among not only teenagers seeking
fancy goods but buyers of sundry shops in
other areas.
