Lake Shoji (17 July 2005) North of Mr. Fuji are five lakes-- the Fuji Five Lakes.  Lake Shoji is the smallest amongst them, but it is quiet place. Many people enjoy fishing-- Largemouth Bass, pond smelt, crucian carp etc. Of course, the area is full of nature. At first, we didn't plan to go there.  At first, we wend to Kofu to enjoy fruits and some other foods.   But, it was too hot!!!  Then we changed destination-- the Five Lakes are around 1,000m altitude.

This photo is one of the best ones I have ever taken.  Lake, cloud and Mt. Fuji.

Many many flowers were blooming.  And, bees were quite active like in paradise.  It is actually very nice place for both us and them.
