Nagano (05-06, May 2005) Nagano is the place where the Winter Olympic Games were held in 1998.  We drove to Nagano Prefecture-- mountains are still in winter.

I retouched this foto a little bit, but no lie. Mountains are covered by snow, trees are still waiting for spring. The altitude of 2,172m.

A marshland in a highland.  Slightly closer to spring-- still spring is not there. But, buds are about explosion. Although some snow is still remaining, spring is almost there. The altitude of 1,600m.

But, down in the farm land, a farmer is enjoying a welcome spring.  Behind is Mt. Yatsugatake (2,800m). The altitude of 800m.
