Sapporo  (21 August, 2005)

A million populated city, Sapporo is in Hokkaido, Japan's north most land.  Hokkaido was
opened up about only 130 years ago-- Sapporo has been the centre of the new land since then.
Many people gathered to Sapporo with a hope for a new land.  That's why, Sapporo is a modern
flavoured town-- it is actually a very fashionable town.
It was raining.  There are many places for sightseeing and taking pictures-- but, yes I am a
stormbringer.  I decided to go to a movie theatre at the top floor of a department store.  So, the
department store was the only place I visited with my 20D this time...
Still, there are lots of fashionable shops there.
Personally, I like this foto.  A miller-like pillar
was openly allocated on the ceiling of a
stairwell-- colour is also nice.
Pillar is slightly tilted, but I don't re-touch.
Don't know why but symmetrical composition
is not the only answer...
However big a city is, it usually remains the "country taste."  But, Sapporo doesn't.
Fashion is very sophisticated.  I really like this city.
